People

People are individual person records with 113+ standardized fields matching CDP (Customer Data Platform) standards. This page covers everything about creating, viewing, editing, and managing people.

Creating people

This is the fastest way to create people with realistic, coherent data.

  1. Go to Templates.
  2. Select a template.
  3. Click "Generate People".
  4. Choose how many people to generate (1-10).
  5. Click "Generate".

The AI fills in all the fields specified in the template with realistic values. A persona is automatically created or updated and linked to the generated people.

Create manually

  1. Go to People.
  2. Click "Create Person" (or "Add Person").
  3. Fill in the fields you need -- they are organized by field group in collapsible sections.
  4. Click "Save".

Not all fields are required. Fill in what's relevant to your use case.

Viewing people

  • Pagination: 20 people per page by default.
  • Search: Find people by name, email, or other fields.
  • Sorting: Sort by creation date, name, etc.
  • Workspace-scoped: You only see people in the workspace you currently have selected.

  3. Demographics -- age, gender, company, role, department
  4. Consent -- GDPR/CCPA compliance, opt-outs

The detail page also shows which personas this person belongs to and their source type.

Editing people

  1. Navigate to a person's detail page.
  2. Click "Edit".
  3. Update any fields.
  4. Click "Save".

Some fields may be read-only depending on the source type.

Deleting people

  1. Navigate to a person's detail page.
  2. Click "Delete".
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a person removes them from all associated personas.

Source types

Every person has a source type that tells you where the data came from:

SourceDescription
SyntheticGenerated by AI from a template. Can be edited.
ManualCreated by a user through the form. All fields are user-entered.
TwinSynced from an external system. May have accuracy scores and sync timestamps.

People and personas

  • People are automatically linked to personas when generated from templates.
  • You can manually add or remove people from personas on the persona detail page.
  • A person can belong to multiple personas.

Click a persona name on a person's detail page to navigate to that persona.

Custom fields

If the 113+ standard fields don't cover your needs, you can add custom fields:

  1. Go to Settings > Custom Fields.
  2. Create a custom field for the "Person" type.
  3. Choose a data type (string, number, boolean, date, array, etc.).
  4. Assign it to a field group.

Custom fields appear in people forms alongside standard fields and can be included in templates.

Tips

  • Use templates for consistency. Generating from templates ensures coherent, realistic data across all fields.
  • Focus on key fields. You don't need to fill in all 113+ fields -- start with Identity, Name and Contact, and Demographics.
  • Link to personas. Associating people with personas makes it easier to analyze groups.
